Duncan Smith is a self taught photographer from Hampshire UK. He first decided to take up photography after a trip to Africa in 2002. Having taken lots of nice pictures of lions and such, he thought to himself "I wonder how good these would have been if I actually knew what I was doing?"

Using his passion for BMX as his main outlet he honed his skills in composition, motion, emotion and lighting, to reach a point where he is now a regular contributor to Ride UK BMX Magazine, as well as providing photographs on a regular basis for other BMX related companies for adverts and catalogues. Duncan has a very heavy backpack, full of fast lenses, flashes and the latest digital equipment to help him achieve the perfect shot, however he is still a regular user of film and likes nothing more than going back to his trusty old Minolta 35mm, or his beloved Bronica ETRS medium format camera on a regualr basis.

Though he has no 'formal' qualification in photography, Duncan has a wealth of experience shooting in all varieties of lighting situations and would like nothing more than to help you get that perfect picture.
