Although I primarily use my Nikon kit for the BMX side of things I still have a passion for film photography. My first camera was a Minolta X-300 35mm, all manual affair, which I still use to this day. I absolutely love it in fact.
I also have a Bronica ETRS medium format (120) camera (the one in the background) which I love to pieces in equal amounts. It is a joy to just hold and use and gives a really satifyting 'clunk' when you take a picture.
I find that with film I'm a lot more emotionally attached to the picture, probably because it's taken that little bit longer to take, to make sure I get it right, and when I get it right the results are so much more satisfying.
I'd like for whoever started referring to it as 'analogue photography' to stand on an upturned plug.
Film ain't dead, it's hanging out with punk music.
